Get to this book.....write it!
The start of a book that I’m percolating - for a few years is:
Norah Brennan is a desert dwelling adventurer. You can follow her life’s journey on her freckled, leathery, tan face. Her long hair has turned from ginger to a grey-ginger blend wrapped in a long pony braid like she does to her horses. Norah’s eyes are emerald green and can burn a hole through you when she feels threatened. Under the tough exterior, Norah has a lovely lilting voice that trails off to a hush when she speaks. When she sings, her beautiful voice can fill the depths of the canyon. She sings daily like a prayer. These days Norah prefers to wear long Bohemian style dresses, a hand-woven shawl and cowboy boots, when she wears shoes at all. If Norah leaves her property to engage with the outside world, she might choose to wear a bra. At 71 years old, Norah believes she’s earned the right to wear what she wants and be who she is.
I really want to get back to this story and see if I can create either a short story or an actual book! Desire and manifest!
